Police inquiry after youth dies

Police investigating the death of a teenager in Scarborough are trying to piece together the hours before he was found collapsed at his home.

Nicholas Semons, 17, was found unconscious at his home on Grosvenor Crescent in the resort on Wednesday morning by his father.

He was taken to the town's hospital but later died.

Now North Yorkshire Police want to find out where he had been the night before, although the death is not suspicious.

A post-mortem examination proved inconclusive and further tests have been ordered.

Officers want to speak to anyone who saw Mr Semons on the Tuesday evening or anyone who had contact with him.
