Teenagers bailed over flat arson

Three teenagers arrested in connection with an arson attack in Harrogate which left an elderly woman critically ill have been released on bail.

A 17-year-old and two 14-year-olds were arrested on Tuesday by detectives investigating the blaze.

Yuen Har Ho, 93, was rescued from a burning ground-floor flat in Newby Crescent, Jennyfields, on 1 November. She remains in intensive care.

A 16-year-old was bailed after being arrested and questioned on Monday.

Officers were in the Jennyfields area handing out leaflets and posters appealing for information on Monday.

The fire was started deliberately in an outside bin.
