A man who brought a North Yorkshire city to a standstill after making a false bomb threat has been jailed for three years.
Wayne Wright, 44, was shot with a baton round by police on Ouse Bridge in York on 10 February after claiming to have explosives in his rucksack.
A large part of the city had to be sealed off and evacuated.
Wright, of no fixed address, was sentenced by a judge at York Crown Court earlier.
