Search teams find body in woods

Peter Young
Police searching for Mr Young have found a body in woodland

Police search teams looking for a missing 47-year-old man in North Yorkshire have found a body in woodland near Scotch Corner.

A major search and rescue operation was started on Friday after the family of Peter Young reported him missing from their home.

Volunteers from Swaledale Mountain Rescue and helicopter crews had been scouring the area.

Officers made the discovery in woods near East Leyton on Sunday.
