Outdoor centre set for big revamp
Bewerley Park Centre, Nidderdale
The centre was originally a school for WWII evacuees from Leeds
A council-run outdoor education centre in North Yorkshire could get the go-ahead for a major upgrade.

Parts of Bewerley Park, near Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale, are "outdated and inadequate", says a report being considered by county councillors.

Feedback from guests shows growing dissatisfaction with facilities which were originally built to house evacuees from Leeds in World War II.

Councillors decide on Tuesday whether to spend £527,000 on improvements.
