A mystery impostor has posted false details about Miss England on a social networking site which she claims makes her sound "thick" and "tarty".

Model Georgia Horsley, of Malton, North Yorks, wants MySpace to take down the bogus profile which claims she does not read and lists Katie Price as her hero.

She said: "It is scary to think someone has stolen my ID."

The site has been contacted and made aware of the false entry. Nobody from MySpace was available for comment.

Miss Horsley came across her "other self" after Googling her name on Monday evening, with the results revealing what appeared to be a link to her MySpace account.

The page was adorned with a photo of the part-time model, but with a profile that did not match.

"I went on to the site and thought 'this isn't my MySpace account'," she said. "For a start, the background music was 50 Cent, whereas mine would be a lot more girly.

"It says that my mood is 'horny' and that my general interest is drinking. I do have the occasional drink, but it isn't my general interest."

Despite the MySpace impostor getting the correct starsign - Sagittarius - other information did not correlate with the woman who will soon be representing England at the Miss World competition in China.

"It says that I like dancing, I can't dance to save my life - anyone who knows me would know that," Miss Horsley said.

'Really freaky'

The bogus entry states that glamour model Katie Price, aka Jordan, is a hero of Miss England, having talked the young model into continuing with her career.

"I have never seen Katie Price in real life, let alone spoken to her," Miss Horsley said.

"It is really freaky. It is scary to think that someone has stolen my ID. They have made me come across a bit thick and a bit of a tart," she added.

The model was due to start a degree in design and media make-up in Manchester before she won the title of Miss England in June.

She has now put her studies on hold and is due to fly out to China in November to participate in the Miss World competition.
