Prince visit hampered by disease
A planned visit to North Yorkshire by the Prince of Wales has been hampered by the outbreak of foot-and-mouth.

Prince Charles was due to arrive in Scarborough on Friday to visit the town's St Catherine's Hospice and the newly restored Rotunda Museum.

Scheduled trips to farms in the North Yorkshire Moors later on Friday were cancelled following the latest outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in Surrey.

The outbreak on Wednesday sparked a UK-wide ban on moving livestock.
