York Maze has invited naturists to "get naked and get lost" in the attraction on Saturday evening.
Highlights of the event, which is claiming to be the first naturist event in a maze, will include entertainment from a "live and unclothed" band.
British Naturism, which has helped to organise the event, said it was a "landmark" occasion which had captured the interest of naturists nationally.
A spokesman said it was particularly appropriate in the current heatwave.
'Naked performance'
Andrew Welch, from British Naturism, said: "We are delighted that York Maze are hosting this landmark event for naturism, the first time a naked event has been held in a maze.
"It shows how much more acceptable the naked body is becoming. We estimate there are now over a million people in the UK interested in naturism."
Yorkshire rock band Slash Bikini will perform at the event.
Band member Randy P Rock III said: "Playing naked is a new venture for the band. Depending on the reaction from the audience this could be a once only naked performance."
The 2006 design for the maze is based on Star Trek to mark its 40th anniversary.
The maze covers 32 acres, which secures its position as the largest maze of maize in the world.
