Work continues on bridleway route
Road in Yorkshire Dales
The area has outstanding natural beauty
Work has started on the next phase of the new Pennine Bridleway through the Yorkshire Dales.

A section of the trail will be given a facelift as part of the huge project to create a route for riders and walkers.

The Pennine Bridleway will eventually link Derbyshire with Northumberland - a distance of 350 miles.

The first Dales section - the Settle Loop - opened last August. Now the stretch between Feizor and Austwick is being restored.
