Solar power users see the light
Schemes in York and Harrogate to create electricity using solar panels have moved a step closer with both projects receiving government backing.

In Harrogate, the panels will be installed on a number of flats, houses and bungalows.

In York, almost 10% of the electricity needed to run the city's new eco-depot will come from the sun.

In total, the government has given grants of £1.8m to five projects in North and West Yorkshire.
