Sex attack on woman in her home

A 25-year-old woman has been subjected to a serious sexual assault in her home in York.

Police say it happened late on 25 May and the woman's attacker was a man she had earlier spoken to in the Windsor Garth area of Acomb.

That same evening, a man with a similar description was thrown out of the Turf Tavern pub in Acomb.

He is described as white, aged 18 to 20, about 5ft 7ins tall and is believed to speak with a Midlands accent.
