A worker at a North Yorkshire quarry has died after becoming trapped by a metal bar.
The un-named man in his early 50s became trapped at the Allerton Park site at lunchtime on Thursday, say police.
An investigation by Health and Safety executives and the police is being carried out.
More details about the circumstances of the incident and the man's name will be released later.
