Firework damages bus crash house
Engineers at the crash scene
The house was badly when the bus crashed into it
A firework has destroyed the roof of a house in York just weeks after a bus ploughed into the side of it.

Fire crews were called to the property at the junction of Lawrence Street and James Street, after a firework set the temporary polythene roof alight.

Part of the original roof was removed in September after a single-decker bus drove into the end-of-terrace house, partially demolishing it.

The couple who lived in the house had moved out while repairs got under way.
