Police probe after acid accident
A trailer loaded with 400 litres of sulphuric acid has been forced off the road, spilling its load onto a busy route through North Yorkshire.

A tractor pulling a trailer containing the acid crashed after apparently being forced off the road by a car on Wednesday night.

When emergency services arrived the tractor was upside down and the tank was leaking.

Fire crews diluted the acid which is extremely corrosive.
