Police identify car crash victims
Two women killed in road accidents in North Yorkshire at the weekend were both from Leeds, police have revealed.

Patricia Anne Towse, 49, from Bramley, died on Saturday after the Rover car she was driving veered off the A64 York bypass at Grimston Bar.

An inquest into her death is expected to open on Wednesday.

Muriel Miller, 80, from New Farnley, was a passenger in a grey Peugeot 205 involved in a collision on the A65 near Skipton on Sunday.

The elderly driver of the car and his other passenger, a six-year-old girl, suffered minor injuries.
