A motorcyclist who died when his machine was in a collision with a car near Skipton has been named by North Yorkshire Police.
John Derek Butler, 54, from Bacup, Lancashire, died in the accident which happened on the A6068 Cowling to Colne Road on Sunday afternoon.
A second man was injured when his motorcycle crashed into the wreckage of the first accident.
The driver of the red Renault Megane car escaped injury.
