Biker dies in collision with cars
A motorcyclist has died after a collision with two cars on a North Yorkshire road.

The accident happened outside Squire's Cafe in Newthorpe near Sherburn-in-Elmet at 1720 BST on Thursday.

Peter Overend, 37, from Gilberdyke, East Yorkshire was in collision with a Fiat Punto and a VW Golf.

He was taken to St James's Hospital in Leeds but died of his injuries. The man is the fourth biker to die on North Yorkshire's roads in the past month.
