Residents across Yorkshire have been warned that heavy rain could bring more flooding problems.
The Environment Agency issued reports on Wednesday saying weather conditions may result in flooding from rivers.
In South Yorkshire, the rivers Don, Dearne and Rother are particularly at risk as are the Aire and Calder in West Yorkshire, the agency said.
The River Ouse in North Yorkshire is expected to peak during Wednesday night at about 3.7m above normal level.
An Environment Agency spokesman said: "More rain is expected on Thursday and Friday and we will continue to monitor the situation.
"We are not expecting it to be as heavy as before but it all depends where it falls."
The Met Office has also issued a severe weather warning for the region with heavy rain expected.
During the last 48 hours homes in York, Goole, Sheffield, Bradford and Keighley were flooded after the equivalent of six weeks of rain fell and motorists had to be rescued from their cars.
Flood warnings remain in force on parts of the River Aire in West Yorkshire but a warning for the river at Allerton Ings has been downgraded to a flood watch.
