Charles and Betty Scott are opposed to new lighting installed by the Moors Inn in the village of Appleton-le-Moors.
The couple claim the lights shine directly into their home opposite the pub.
Now their TV star daughter has written to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park planning department to complain about the intrusion, a spokesman has confirmed.
She is among the people who have objected to the pub's retrospective application for planning permission.
In their letter of complaint, the Scott family told the authority their home "suffers the full impact of the lights".
They added: "It is difficult to sleep as they light up all the bedroom even with blinds and curtains drawn."
The planning authority deferred a decision on the pub's application last week.
It is set to be reconsidered in May.
