Steam railway in Norfolk restores network link

The North Norfolk railway from Holt to Sheringham will have a direct link to Norwich

A steam railway will link with the national network after the opening of a stretch of line in a seaside resort in Norfolk.

The North Norfolk Railway from Holt to Sheringham will have a direct link to Norwich for national connections.

Historic steam engine Oliver Cromwell will haul the first train to travel from Norwich to Holt since the 1960s.

The new track crosses the High Street in Sheringham linking two stations and the Poppy and Bittern lines.
