Relatives of a woman stabbed to death in a double killing over Halloween have paid tribute to her.

Karen Brown, 39, was found dead by police on Saturday, along with retired businessman Kenneth Snell, 65, at his home in Cringleford, near Norwich.

Miss Brown's family said: "Karen was a great daughter and a great friend who was always full of life.

"She had a spark and always lit the place up. Everyone always felt better for seeing her."

The statement issued through Norfolk Police said: "Karen always had a smile on her face and would always bring a smile to others.

"She loved animals and had a passion for cookery.

"She was a loving and generous auntie, a much loved sister to Adam and Simon and daughter to Irene and Peter."

John Moody, 44, of Kerrison Road, Norwich, has been charged with two murders and is due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on 17 November.
