Eleven 999 workers hurt in fire

The firefighters were taken to hospital as a precaution

Eleven emergency service staff have been taken to hospital following a fire in a Norfolk factory.

The fire started shortly before midnight at heating firm Heatrae Sadia on Hurricane Way, off Fifers Lane in Norwich.

A fire service spokesman said 15 fire engines and 70 firefighters were at the scene. The fire is now under control.

He added nine firefighters and two ambulance staff are being "checked over" in hospital.
