Man is charged with alleyway rape

A 21-year-old man has been charged with the rape of a woman in an alleyway in a Norfolk seaside resort.

The 19-year-old woman was attacked in an alleyway at Albion Road, Great Yarmouth, in the early hours of Saturday 4 July.

James Court, of Priory Plain, Great Yarmouth, is due to appear before Great Yarmouth magistrates on Saturday, police said.

A police spokesman said the man was arrested at his home address.
