Neil Hirrel tried to cover his tracks, the court heard

A 40-year-old man has been jailed for 19 years after admitting the murder of a man in his Norfolk home.

Neil Hirrel stabbed Anthony Griffiths, 60, whose body was found at his Hall Close home in Fakenham, on 10 March last year, Norwich Crown Court heard.

The court was told Hirrel went to Mr Griffiths' flat to retrieve money he had given him when a fight broke out and Mr Griffiths was stabbed.

A previous trial was postponed last October and the jury discharged.

The court heard Hirrel, of Wensum Way, Fakenham, had tried to cover his tracks by making the incident look like a burglary.
