Santas 'were involved in fight'

Two groups of men, one dressed in Father Christmas outfits, caused a serious disturbance when they became involved in a fight in a city centre.

Police said one man had been arrested in connection with the incident in Norwich early on Saturday evening.

Officers said one man needed treatment for a head injury and had been taken to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and another suffered cuts to his face.

A spokesman said neither injury was thought to be life-threatening.

He added that one group of men were dressed as Father Christmas.

The other men were described as being of dark-skinned African or Asian appearance.
