Jobs lost at tourist attraction

The 13 workers lost their jobs at the farm and tourist centre

Half of the 26-strong workforce at a tourist attraction at Heacham in West Norfolk have been made redundant.

The 13 workers at Norfolk Lavender farm and visitor centre have lost their jobs due to financial problems at the firm.

The managing director Henry Head said the crisis had been caused by a bad debt that ran into six figures.

Mr Head said: "It's been really horrible. But trading's not been affected and we've had a good November. I'm sure the company will continue."
