Tornado squadron deployed to Iraq

Royal Air Force personnel stationed in west Norfolk are being deployed on a three-month tour of Iraq.

RAF Marham's IX(B) Squadron will begin their tour on Friday, replacing 31 Squadron which is preparing for its return to the base.

The squadron's Tornado aircraft will provide air support to coalition ground troops operating in the country.

The RAF said arrangements were being made to send Christmas messages to the squadron during their tour.
