Woman rescued on freezing course

A woman has been rescued from a Norfolk golf course in freezing conditions.

The alarm was raised in the early hours of Saturday by two fisherman who heard her call for help from Hopton, near Great Yarmouth.

The woman, whose identity has not been released by the emergency services, was found wandering on a golf course.

She was taken to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston suffering from hypothermia. Coastguards say the wind chill factor in the area was -6C.
