A father-of-two who was killed when the plane he was in crashed into a tractor in Norfolk was a media executive.
Ian Davies, 49, of Topcroft, Norfolk, was director of group business development at media group Archant and had been with the company for 19 years.
Colleagues said Mr Davies, 49, was passionate about flying.
A second man in the plane was seriously injured in the accident at Seething Airfield on Wednesday but it is not yet known who was piloting the aircraft.
The 51-year-old has been transferred to Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge.
The tractor driver, Andrew Hill, was treated for shock.
Norfolk Police are investigating together with the Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB).

A police spokeswoman said the plane had dual controls.
In a statement issued by Norwich-based Archant, the company's chief executive, John Fry, said: "Everyone is extremely saddened to hear of the tragic accident involving Ian.

"He was a keen amateur pilot with a real passion for all aspects of flying. His sudden death has been felt by us all.
"Our thoughts are with his family and in particular his wife Colette and children Francesca and Josh."
The company said Mr Davies was a "very experienced light aircraft display pilot".
It said he part-owned a de Havilland Chipmunk airplane which he flew out of Seething Airfield.
Mr Davies had been the consulting editor for Archant's Pilot magazine for three years.
He was qualified as a light aircraft instructor and was also a qualified helicopter pilot.
Prior to joining Archant, Mr Davies worked as a BBC Look East journalist. He had also worked as a radio presenter and producer.
