Luther Storr, 17, and Shaun Barnes, 16, were killed near Watlington station in Norfolk

The deaths of two teenage boys who were hit by a train in Norfolk were accidental, an inquest has found.

Luther Storr, 17, and Shaun Barnes, 16, both from Watlington, died in December 2007 on the track at Wiggenhall St Germans, near King's Lynn.

The inquest at Cromer heard that the pair, who had been on a night out, were hit at the same time by a train travelling at 90mph.

The deaths were investigated by the British Transport Police.

The inquest heard from Sgt Phillipa Smith from British Transport Police who said the teenagers had two mobile phones and one was switched on to a music player.

Peter Darling, an HM Inspector of Railways, said there were no breaches of health and safety regulations.
