Girl, two, found outside nursery

A nursery head has apologised and opened an inquiry after a two-year-old girl was found wandering in a road.

The toddler went missing from the nursery in Cromer, Norfolk, before midday on Friday and was returned unharmed by a member of the public.

Education authority Norfolk County Council said security was under review.

Ian Money, head of Suffield Park infant school's nursery, said: "I'd like to apologise to the parents and assure them a full inquiry is under way."
