An auction of memorabilia associated with Admiral Lord Nelson is to be held 250 years after his birth.
Horatio Nelson was born in Burnham Thorpe, Norfolk, in 1758, and died on board his ship HMS Victory during the battle of Trafalgar in 1805.
The sale includes an oak box thought to have been made from the barrel which held Nelson's body on his voyage back to England, Bonhams auctioneers said.
The box is expected to fetch £1,200 at the London auction on 23 September.
Letters from Nelson are also being sold in the auction as well as items from his funeral, including a rare mourning ring, tickets and invitations.
