Man remanded over youth's murder

A man arrested in Shropshire has appeared in court charged with the murder of a Norfolk teenager.

Simon Everitt, 17, of Great Yarmouth, went missing on 7 June. A body, thought to be his, was later found at Mautby.

Jonathan Clarke, of Nelson Road South, Great Yarmouth, appeared before the town's magistrates and was remanded in custody to appear at crown court later.

Maria Chandler, 40, of Lancaster Road, Great Yarmouth, has also been charged with Simon's murder and is in custody.
