Children rescued from house fire

Three young children and their mother had to be rescued after a fire broke out in a house in a village in Norfolk.

Five Norfolk Fire Service crews were called to the blaze at a house in Newport Road, Hemsby, in the early hours of the morning.

A neighbour and firefighters helped rescue the children and mother - who were taken to hospital.

Norfolk Police and fire officers are investigating what may have caused the fire.
