Men charged over armed robberies

Three men and a youth have been charged after a series of 30 armed robberies, burglaries and thefts over six months.

The crimes took place across Norfolk, Cambs, Lincs and Oxfordshire, between August 2007 and February 2008.

James Curtis, 47, and James Walter Curtis, 25, both of Mill Field, Littleport, have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

Also charged with the same offence was Charles Lee, 43, of St Neots and a 17-year-old from the Littleport area.

The four were also charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with firearms, aggravated burglary, and burglary and conspiracy to commit theft of motor vehicles, between 18 August 2007 and 7 February 2008.

They will appear at King's Lynn Magistrates' Court on Thursday 1 May.
