Man killed as car leaves the road

A 54-year-old man died when his car left a road in Norfolk and crashed into a ditch.

The driver lost control of his Ford Mondeo car, which overturned and left the Diss Road, in Tibenham, on Tuesday evening, Norfolk Police said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, near the B1134 junction.

Norfolk Police believe the crash happened at about 1900 GMT, but are trying to verify the time and urged anyone who saw the car to contact them.
