Body recovered from city's river
A body believed to be that of a man has been recovered from the River Yare two miles south of Norwich city centre.

The fire service used a rescue boat to bring the body to the riverbank at Whitlingham Lane, Trowse.

Two fire crews took about half an hour to recover the body, assisting emergency services teams alerted earlier by people on a passing boat.

Police said identification of the body, now at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, would take place on Monday.
