Woman's body pulled from the sea
The body of a woman has been recovered from the sea in north Norfolk.

Police were called to the beach at Cromer after reports were made about a body in the water between Cromer Pier and the lighthouse.

An ambulance and doctor were called to the scene, but the woman was formally certified as dead.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious, but have said no further details will be released until the woman's next of kin are informed.

A formal identification of the woman's body, which was found at 1000 GMT on Wednesday, was expected later.
