A mother has made an appeal to help find her teenage son who went missing on a night out two weeks ago.

Gary Ling, 18, was last seen by friends near Liquid nightclub in Prince of Wales Road, Norwich, on 14 January.

Mr Ling, from the St Leonards Road area of Norwich, is white, of slight build, about 6ft, has short, light brown, spiky hair and is clean shaven.

His mother Hazel Ling said: "Please, please, if you have any information about Gary... please tell the police."

He was last seen wearing a black waistcoat, a black and white scarf, blue jeans and brown shoes.

Police have released CCTV footage which shows Mr Ling walking with friends down Guildhall, along Prince of Wales Road towards Liquid nightclub.

His friends then went into the club but Mr Ling decided to walk home alone.

His mother said: "Gary is a loving, kind, intelligent and generous young man who would do anything for anyone if it was possible to do so.

"All his family love him very much. We all miss him and can only hope for a positive outcome.

"He has so many people who really care about him. Everyone just wants Gary back safe."

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Norfolk Police.
