Street fall death inquest begins
Witnesses are due to give evidence at an inquest into the death of a 77-year-old man who fell in a street.

Henry Pernell had been drinking in the Duke of Wellington pub, Great Yarmouth, and fell onto a pavement soon after he left the premises on 2 February 2007.

Mr Pernell, of Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth, died in hospital two days later. A post-mortem examination showed he died from head injuries.

The hearing at the town's magistrates court is expected to last five days.
