Teenagers 'were killed by train'
Two teenage boys whose bodies were found on a railway line in north Norfolk are thought to have been hit by a train, police have said.

The bodies of the pair, both 17 and from Watlington, were spotted on the track near Wiggenhall St Germans on Saturday by a passing train driver.

Police sealed off the tracks to conduct a forensic search and said the deaths were thought to have been accidental.

Buses have replaced trains running between King's Lynn and Downham Market.

A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said police were called at about 0830 GMT on Saturday.

Remembered in prayer

"A full forensic investigation of the scene has been conducted and the CCTV for the area recovered," a BTP spokesman said.

"The families have been informed of the deaths and formal identification is likely to take place early next week.

"Police are currently trying to establish the circumstances surrounding the deaths."

Prayers were said being said for the two teenagers at Wiggenhall St. Germans' parish church.

Rev John Penny told BBC News: "My wife is the vicar of that area and was deeply distressed to learn of the tragedy and will be remembering the people who've died and their families at the services this day.

"It's an awful thing to happen just before Christmas."
