Murder charge man is granted bail

A man from Norfolk charged with murder has been granted bail on condition he lives in a hostel in Brighton.

The body of Heather Burton, 79, was discovered at her home in Sun Barn Walk, Reepham, by police on 3 November.

Colin Roy Barker, 63, was charged with her murder and has appeared at Norwich Crown Court where he was granted bail.

Mr Barker, a neighbour of Mrs Burton, is due to appear before Norwich Crown Court again for a plea and directions hearing on 22 February next year.
