Vandals caused about £150,000 worth of damage
Two boys have been charged with burglary and causing damage to student flats at a college in west Norfolk.

Staff at the College of West Anglia described the damage as a "horror scene" after vandals broke in on 26 and 27 July.

Repairs to Plaxtole House, which accommodates students with learning difficulties, cost more than £150,000.

Police have charged two boys from King's Lynn, aged 12 and 15, with burglary and criminal damage.

Both youths have been put on police bail until they appear before King's Lynn Youth Court on 11 September.

Repairs to the hall of residence have been completed in time for the new academic year, but all 40 bedrooms, a teaching wing, toilets, kitchens and students' course work were damaged in the attacks.
