Farm wife's 'oldest fridge' claim
A farmer's wife believes she may have the oldest working fridge in the UK.

Sally Garrod, 49, who lives at Rocklands near Attleborough in Norfolk, said her Prestcold fridge was bought 50 years ago and is still going strong.

"My parents bought it in spring 1957 - a few months before I was born," said Mrs Garrod. "However, they could not remember how much they paid for it.

"They gave it to me about 21 years ago and we're still using it. I've never heard of anyone with an older fridge."
