Man charged with guard's murder
A 19-year-old man has appeared in court charged over the fatal stabbing of a security guard and an attack on two other people at a shopping centre.

David Peter Watson, of London, is charged with murdering Paul Cavanagh, 30, of Rockland St Mary in Norfolk.

He died in hospital on Monday 18 December after an incident at an HMV music store in Norwich.

Mr Watson was remanded in custody until 30 March when he is expected to make a plea before a trial scheduled for May.

At Norwich Crown Court on Friday Mr Watson also heard he was to face charges of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm to security guard Gavin Levett, 34.

He was also charged with attempting to wound to cause grievous bodily harm to special constable Ian Gardener.
