A radiology suite partly paid for with an £11.4m legacy of a former patient has opened at a Norfolk hospital.
Sagle Bernstein, who died in May 2000, left the money to Cromer Hospital to thank staff who cared for her sister.
Work started in January to build the unit, which opened on Monday, and an eight-station renal dialysis unit, using £1.3m from the legacy.
The radiology unit is made up of a dedicated ultrasound room, a general X-ray room and an MRI Scanner.
About £2.3m of the money left to the hospital has been spent on new equipment.
