Fatally injured boy, five, named
A boy who died after he was hit by a car while walking near a fishing lake with his father has been named.

Kai Davies had been out fishing when the accident happened in Three Score Road, Bowthorpe, near Norwich, on Monday afternoon.

The five-year-old was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital but died after surgery.

A police spokesman said the pair were at a crossing point on Three Score Road when the accident happened.

Norfolk police have questioned the driver who was from Norwich and have appealed for witnesses to the accident which happened at 1330 BST.
