The final part of sea defence work to halt erosion along the Norfolk coast begins Tuesday.
The five-year £10m Environment Agency project is to protect the coastline between Hunstanton and Heacham.
Sections of Heacham and Snettisham beaches will be temporarily closed off during July and August while the shingle bank is upgraded.
Steve Peck from the Environment Agency said: "The sea defences will protect assets with a value of about £37m."
