Depot victim was father of three
A worker killed at a concrete mixing depot on Monday has been named as technician Christopher Meachen, 28.

Mr Meachen, of Long Stratton, Norfolk, died at the Minimix plant at Costessey after becoming trapped in machinery.

He and his fiancee, Helen Pamplin, 24, mother of his three children, were due to marry next summer.

A 46-year-old man arrested after Mr Meachen died has been released on bail. Health and Safety inspectors have begun an investigation at the site.

Mr Meachen's family described him as an outgoing and charismatic man with a keen interest in sport and music.

The youngest of his children, Aflie, is four months old. Ella, the eldest, is seven and Max is 15 months.

Mr Meachen had been working at the concrete plant as a technician for two months.
