'Come home' plea to wrestler mum
Julia Hamer
Missing mother Julia Hamer wrestles under the name Sweet Saraya
The husband of a wrestling champion who disappeared five weeks ago has appealed for her return to her family.

Norfolk mother-of-two Julia Hamer, 33, whose stage name is Sweet Saraya, went missing from home on 27 August.

Her husband, Patrick Frary, of The Avenues, Norwich, also a wrestler, said he and the children were desperate to hear from her.

"She is a brilliant wife and mother and we just miss her so much and we are so worried about her."

He said they wanted to know she was safe and well - and they wanted her to know that there was nothing that they could not sort out as a family.

Ms Harmer, of The Avenues, Norwich, has two children Zak, 14, and Saraya, 13, has never gone missing before. She made contact with a mutual friend by telephone on 2 September but has not been heard from since.

Women's champion

The World Association of Wrestling British Women's champion also performs with her husband, who is known in the wrestling world as Ricky Knight.

She is described as being about 5ft 6ins tall, thin, with red shoulder- length hair and a pale complexion.

She is believed to have been travelling in a white M-registered Honda Civic car and could be in Essex or Cornwall. Officers are also investigating the possibility that she may have travelled to France.

Police spokeswoman Kristina Raines said: "We would urge Julia to contact either the police or her family to let us know she is safe and well. She can walk into any police station and leave a message."
